Pigment and mineral ground on linen
Monumental architectural format
170 × 200 cm vertical panel
180 x 200 cm curved panel
350 × 200 cm overall
This work continues the Axiom series’ exploration of architectural proportion and spatial balance.
Constructed through layered mineral grounds and lime-wash pigment, the paintings reveal subtle tonal shifts and surface movement that respond to light and viewing distance.
The first panel introduces intersecting geometric forms and curved structural elements, while the second panel resolves the composition through vertical alignment and field.
Presented as a diptych, the works create a measured pause between surfaces — allowing structure and space to operate together.
A restrained palette of mineral whites and stone greys emphasises the material presence of the surface while maintaining the calm architectural language central to Composed Abstraction™.
