Pigment and mineral ground on linen
Framed in black oak (handmade in studio)
AXIOM XII is a monumental field of restrained geometry held in mineral light.
Vertical planes of softened blue, bone, and stone establish a quiet architectural order, grounded by a low horizontal register that anchors the composition in stillness. A central intersection introduces a measured point of tension — a datum through which the composition resolves.
The work exists between painting and structure — suggesting wall, threshold, and horizon without narrative. Edges soften into atmosphere while maintaining precision; colour operates as light contained within form.
Built through layered pigment and matte mineral ground, the surface carries subtle depth without disruption — preserving clarity, balance, and control.
Conceived for expansive contemporary interiors, AXIOM II functions not as image but as spatial anchor — establishing calm, proportion, and permanence within the built environment.
