LINTEL extends the architectural language of the Axiom Series into a sustained horizontal register.

A continuous pale mineral field spans the upper plane, grounded by a deep tonal base that anchors the composition in weight. At the right, vertical forms establish enclosure and threshold, while a restrained horizontal beam introduces measured proportion — a structural interval within stillness. The composition balances gravity and openness, span and containment.

Built through layered veils of matte pigment and finely sanded surface, the painting absorbs light rather than reflecting it, recalling aged plaster, stone, and interior space. Subtle tonal shifts unfold slowly across the 340cm expanse, rewarding sustained looking.
