AXIS explores the point at which painting begins to operate as architecture.

Spanning six metres, the work unfolds as a continuous architectural landscape of intersecting planes, thresholds and vertical forms. Restrained earth tones, deep black and ochre are held together by precise linear structure, creating a rhythm that shifts between solidity and openness.

At this scale, AXIS is designed to be experienced spatially as much as visually - a monumental work that changes with distance and movement through the room.
