Across the Vivid and Lighthouse bodies of work, geometry shifts between energy and orientation. Saturation becomes rhythm; light becomes signal. Planes of colour suggest horizon, shelter, and movement, while maintaining the disciplined stillness that defines Wolthuizen’s evolving language.

Rather than describing landscape or architecture directly, the compositions evoke a felt sense of direction — the tension between motion and calm, distance and intimacy, emergence and return.
