A horizontal datum extends across the field, establishing a measured line of equilibrium. Vertical structure interrupts and stabilises the composition, resolving the painting as a spatial condition rather than an image.

Tone is held in suspension through a restrained mineral palette. Surface variation remains subtle, diffused, and matte, allowing proportion and interval to govern perception.

The work is conceived not as a composition of forms, but as an architectural proposition — a calibrated field in which balance replaces movement, and stillness becomes structural.
