Joanna Wolthuizen develops a language of painting grounded in architectural structure and perceptual stillness.

ARTIST PROFILE

Joanna Wolthuizen is an Australian abstract artist and the originator of Composed Abstraction™, a contemporary geometric language defined by architectural clarity, measured proportion, and restraint.

Her work has been presented internationally, including Monaco and London, and is held in private collections across Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Working through Composed Abstraction™, her paintings are conceived not as images, but as spatial structures—where tone, geometry, and material presence stabilise perception within architectural space.
